Canicross South Africa exists to grow Canicross across Southern Africa through education, ethical training, and community-led participation.
Our mission is to support dog and human teams by providing the knowledge, skills, and correct equipment needed to move safely and confidently together, while fostering strong bonds, responsible dog ownership, and inclusive outdoor communities for all fitness levels.
Vision Statement
Our vision is a network of regional hubs across Southern Africa where people and dogs come together to train, learn, and belong.
We envision Canicross as a positive force that improves the quality of life for South African dogs through regular, structured activity, socialisation, and meaningful time spent with their people, while building healthier humans, well-adjusted dogs, and connected outdoor communities rooted in trust, teamwork, and wellbeing.
