Introduction to Canicross: 2 Session Course

Canicross South Africa is excited to announce the refined Introduction to Canicross Course, now offered in two engaging sessions. As we celebrate the opening of the second Gauteng club and three new clubs in the Western Cape, this course provides a perfect opportunity to dive into the thrilling world of Canicross.

The course begins with an online theory session, allowing participants to learn at their convenience about the history and evolution of Canicross, which has now become a world championship event. Following this, the practical session will take place at The Animal Think Tank in Fourways, where participants can experience the excitement of Canicross firsthand.

Participants will not only learn about the amazing gear available but also discover how Canicross strengthens the bond between you and your four-legged teammate. This activity encourages social interaction with like-minded individuals while providing an incredible outlet for your dog, helping to alleviate anxiety and destructive behaviors. Most importantly, the course places animal welfare at the forefront of the sport.
